Inspired by Leo Babauta of mnmlist I’ve decided to release any copyright for my character Lonely Schnozz and any content on this blog. This means that if you’d like to steal stuff, please feel free to do so without my permission. It is unheard of for a cartoonist to release copyright on his/her character, but like all art, Lonely Schnozz was inspired by another cartoonist’s work, notably Michael Leunig. It is this borrowing and reshaping of ideas that has resulted in some of the best cartoons ever created. If someone wishes to take my character and draw a cartoon and that cartoon succeeds then I would be honoured that they deemed my little creation worthy of their talents.
