I like Schnozz’s philosophy on wishes. I also like Ginger Beer. This is the last of my “newspaper format” strips, they failed miserably to get published in any sort of mainstream publication, which doesn’t surprise me considering that the most common response when I show people my cartoons is “I don’t really get the joke”.

I know all about it. From my experience, there is a substantial gap between mainstream and “underground”, the former being a lot more challenging in many respects.
I am still learning to find the balance between what readers want and what I want (which is why mainstream cartooning is so difficult). Because, ultimately, if it were ONLY for yourself, then syndication wouldn’t matter.
Keep at it, buddy. Always loved your work.
